I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/06/2016 from NY 10474, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Melody came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She has been highly social, affectionate, and very easy to handle since intake. Reaction to assessor: Melody is at the front of the cage when approached, vocalizing softly and rubbing against the cage bars. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains at the front, soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Melody leans into petting and allows all touch on the head and body. She purrs throughout. Placement determination: Beginner Melody interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
