Melanie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Melanie is calm and relaxed at the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Melanie rubs against the kennel door with her tail up. Reaction to cage door opening: Melanie is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Melanie rubs up against the assessor’s hand and allows petting all over. She rolls over on her side and lightly head butts the assessor. Behavior Determination: Beginner Melanie interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
