**SAFE 06/21/16**ANOTHER CHANCE FOR poor, sweet MEEK? MAKE IT COUNT! For one thing, by the ACC giving Meek such a judgmental name, they have already skewed how people look at this beauty….and for another thing, their craptastic intake photo does not show her to her best advantage. But LOOK at her medical notes, the initial intake medical notes of June 15th. She is listed as being both SPAYED and LACTATING. But a quick check of the information the shelter sends out with new intakes shows NO MEDICAL information for her on June 14th, which is the day she was taken to the ACC as a stray, and there is also NO sign of her being spayed in those same shelter notes for June 15th. It wasn’t until June 16th when the shelter said, Oh, by the way, she was “spayed and lactating” yesterday….so was she spay aborted? It is HIGHLY UNUSUAL for a cat, a “STRAY” cat, to be both “SPAYED” and “LACTATING” when arriving at the shelter. For that matter, she appears to be in excellent health as well, even her lousy shelter photo cannot dull the shine in her coat. Something is rotten in MEEK’s shelter narrative and they would like nothing BETTER than to kill her tomorrow, and make ALL THE QUESTIONS GO AWAY! Don’t let them get away with this murder, prefaced as it has been with so much shady dealing. If you do ONE THING only tonight, make sure it’s SAVING MEEK!
