Sx. – Routine scrotal castration. No sutures placed, incisions left open to drain. Green linear tattoo placed on ventral abdomen.
_0.05__mL metacam injectable and __0.02__ mL Hydromorphone for pain management.

Behavior:
Meatball was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He allowed all handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. He was reported to be playful and enjoys attention.
Reaction to assessor: Meatball was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Meatball reaches out with his paws.
Reaction to cage door opening: Meatball remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Meatball was a little hesitant, but he remains in place and allows petting all over. He begins to purr and leans in for attention.
Reaction to pick up: Meatball remains soft and purrs when held.
Placement Determination: Beginner
Meatball interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
