In litter box, seems less depressed today. Came forward slightly to eat offered treats. Leaned into pets, purred, closed eyes. Definitely improvement. Sprayed feliway.
Further improvement. In cubby, as ever, but still soft bodied. Leaned hard into pets and purred. Lifted rear for butt scratches, started to knead in place.

_x_ No other cats OR multi-cat home with adopters experienced with introducing new cats
Maxie remains social and easy to handle with her human caretakers, but please be aware that she may be uncomfortable around other cats. Their previous owner reports that Maxie was bullied by the other cats in her previous home. Due to the described behaviors, we recommend Maxie goes to a home with no other cats OR into a multi-cat home with cat parents experienced with introducing new cats slowly and gradually over a long period of time.
BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average
Maxie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
