***SAFE 09/01/17*** AVERAGE RATED SWEETHEART MAX NEEDS A RESCUE ANGEL NOW!! A volunteer writes: I met Miss Max on the first day of her stay in the cat adoption room. Understandably, she hid herself inside her cat loft, staying on the sidelines as she took in all the unfamiliar sights and sounds. I had a feeling, though, that this petite (6 pounds!) sweet girl craved some human interaction. So I approached her calmly and spoke to her softly, hoping she would relax and come forward to meet me. It took time, but finally she put her guard down and leaned into my hand, treating me to the softest head butts I’ve ever experienced. Once she came out of her shell, she bowed her head for pettings and ear scratchings, and she even decided to dive into her food dish and finish every last morsel. Max is a lovely, gentle, well-mannered sweetheart, one with excellent pet potential. I convinced Max to open up to me, and you will too.
5 year old Max was abandoned at the shelter. She has a heart murmur which should have a follow up check with cardiologist. She is friendly and needs a home! MAX ONLY HAS UNTIL 12 NOON TO BE RESERVED!!!
