No History : Owner surrender due to eviction, presented with 8 other cats Subjective: Observed Behavior – BARH. Came out of carrier on own, allowed all handling but struggled with light restraint, tried to jump off table, towel used Evidence of Cruelty seen – No Evidence of Trauma seen – No Objective P = WNL R = WNL BCS 4/9 EENT: Eyes clear, moderate brown waxy debris AU with purulent discharge AD, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Teeth clean, pink mm PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, mild generalized dermatitis, flea dirt CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Otitis externa, fleas, flea allergy dermatitis Plan: Cleaned ears, applied otibiotic, flea treatment applied. Rec otibiotic q24 x 7 days Prognosis: Excellent SURGERY: Okay for surgery
