10/28/16 18:26 Master P is a brown tabby that is possible 3 years old. Finder noticed that cat roaming in the street and trapped the cat by luring it with food. The cat was fearful and attempted to flee during cat transfer. The cat did not allow any handling.

Master P was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder was able to catch him by luring him with food. He displayed fearful behavior during intake and attempted to flee, but he allowed all handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Master P meows softly and approaches the front, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Master P starts to purr and solicits attention by rubbing against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Master P greets the assessor by the opening. Reaction to touch: Master P meows softly and head-butts the assessor vigorously. He leans in for rubs and is very affectionate, nudging the assessor with his head and rolling over, purring loudly. Reaction to pick up: Master P was tense during pick up, but allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Master P interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. He may be assertively demanding of attention, but does not appear to get over-aroused. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
