***SAFE 02/11/16 *** A QUARTET OF EBONY SWEETNESS NEEDS SAVING TONIGHT!! MASE, SAK, AJ and STORM are more cat housemates from a hoarding situation. Some of their housemates have already been listed. There are four young cats averaging around a little over a year old who are very frightened in the shelter. They all have EXPERIENCE ratings but what they NEED is TIME and TLC and this foursome will blossom. Now maybe you can’t foster or adopt four cats, but maybe you can foster or adopt one or two. These sweethearts are already SPAYED and NEUTERED, they just need someone to speak up for them!! PLEASE APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT. IF THERE IS ROOM IN YOUR HOME OR YOUR HEART, ACT TONITE….If you need assistance, contact [email protected]!!

02/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Mase was brought in without information on her behavioral tendencies in her previous home. The finder reports she will try to flee and does not let anyone pick her up. She was tense and nervous during her initial medical exam, but she allowed easy handling. She will attempt to flee with loud noises. Reaction to Assessor: Mase was behind her litter box upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mase lowers her head and blinks. Reaction to cage door opening: Mase remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Mase was hesitant and shifts away from hand slightly, but she remains in place when touched. She allows petting on her head and along her body, but stiffens in place with sudden movements. She seems to appreciate rubs on her cheeks and closes eyes, but is wary of the environment. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Mase tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
