04/26/17 19:01 Basic information: Marvin was brought in as a stray. The finder found Marvin in an apartment building, the finder placed Marvin in a cat carrier and brought Marvin to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Marvin had tense, stiff body. Marvin would retreat from extended. Marvin eventually allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, and placed in a cat kennel.

Reaction to cage door opening: Marvin becomes alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Marvin stands with tail up and solicits attention while he leans into the petting and purrs. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup but becomes antsy. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Marvin interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
