Martinelli is a 6 year old black and white male domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Martinelli was shy for introduction and retreated from the counselors hand but did not attempt to ward off. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph in the carrier. Martinelli was interested in food when offered.
Weak, eyes wide, leans in for rubs. Doesn’t get up. Calm and relaxed. Enjoyed treats.
