Safe - 2-22-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Eleventh Hour Please honor your pledges: Www.ehrdogs.org
***SAFE 02/22/16 *** FANCY A TRIP TO MARS?? OR BETTER YET “WITH” MARS?? MARS is a lovely, three year old NEUTERED, BEGINNER who looks like he had gotten himself into a scrape or several…..Given MARS’ medical notes, he needs some heavy duty antibiotic care for his worsening wounds and not the cheapo doxycycline the ACC doles out. WE ONLY HAVE ONE CAT LISTED TONIGHT!! WHO is going to help this terrific tuxie who wants attention and needs a helping hand?? A competent vet visit is all this guy needs to set things right!! MARS is publicly adoptable which means he can be reserved through the ACC or he can be reserved through a NEW HOPE rescue. BOLDLY GO and APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT MARS NOW!! If you need help, [email protected]……

02/12/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Mars and at the time she was curled up in the back. Lifts head up. Sniffs hand. Allows petting. Leans head forward slowly. Reaction to assessor: Mars comes to the front of the cage and rubbs on the cage door When spoken quietly: Mars stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Mars remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Mars solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Mars is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Mars was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
