08/21/17 13:18 Finder stated that Marley was relaxed and went right into the trap. She came around the finders home for a few days. Behavior during intake: Marley had a soft and relaxed body during intake. Counselor was able to transfer animal into a den without any issues, scan for a mc, collar and take a picture.

KNOWN HISTORY: Marley was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: friendly EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is re-arranged Reaction to assessor: Marley is sitting up in the back of her kennel and makes eye contact. Reaction when softly spoken to: Marley continues to make eye contact and appears alert. Reaction to cage door opening: Marley watches assessor closely as kennel door opens. Reaction to touch: Marley is shy at first but allows all petting. After a few minutes she leans into the assessors hand for chin rubs. She enjoys being pet but seems slightly uncomfortable with her tail wrapped around her body. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Calm, Sweet RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced cat parent- Marley may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
