***SAFE 05/19/16*** Marky, aka Mauna is a 3 year old SPAYED tiger lady. She was adopted out from the shelter a while back, but her latest owner has dumped her off for “personal problems”. This girl takes just a moment to warm up to you, and has been rated EXPERIENCED. She’s earned herself beautiful volunteer notes. Check them out! “Mauna is a lovely tabby who enjoys attention and being petted. She is the adventurous type – when taken out of her kitty condo and placed in an enclosed area, she becomes the explorer! At first she seemed uneasy in her kitty condo, but that all changed when she got the chance to “stretch her paws”. She also enjoys being spoken to, and she makes wonderful eye contact. Mauna would enliven any home she would be lucky enough to become part of.” Mauna is truly a sweet girl, and would be such a joy in your life. The ACC is on a killing rampage tonight, and Mauna will be GONE AT NOON TOMORROW, so please reach out and pull her to safety RIGHT NOW!

05/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Mauna looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Mauna remains sitting upright at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Mauna flinches during the stroke, but slowly leans into the assessor’s hand and remains wary with her surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Mauna tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
