Behavior- friendly, comes to the front of the cage and illicits attnetion, head bumps and marks you when out of the cage, tolelrates all handling and cooperative on the table.
Ears- waxy but clean
Eyes- clear and clean with no discharge
Nose- small amount of discharge from both nostrils, no sneezing. Possible URI, confirmed EK. put on Doxy 50mg/ml Give 0.4 mls once daily Give with food.
Teeth- white no staining still has all decidious teeth.
NSF on exam
Marco was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home.
Reaction to assessor: Marco meows softly and reaches out the kennel with paws.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Marco starts to purr softly and rubs up against the kennel door.
Reaction to cage door opening: Marco is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Marco allows petting all over her body and rubs up against the assessor. He purrs softly when pet along his body, is incredibly affectionate and head butts the assessor.
Reaction to being picked up: Marco is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. He rolls around and nuzzles up in the assessor’s arms.
Behavior Determination: Beginner
Marco interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
Limit profile due to owner having the kitten for a few hours.
Marco is a neutered, all black DSH kitten that is 4 months old. The owner adopted Marco from ACC. The owner could no longer keep Marco due to personal problem. Marcos allowed all handling during intake. He was friendly and playful. The kitten eat dry kitten science diet and used the litter box. He allowed to be collar, scanned and photographed.
