MARCELLO deserves so much better-SENIOR cats often make the best companions, they love and appreciate everything done for them. MARCELLO has very striking markings, he’s a handsome fellow who doesn’t deserve to be killed, but will be unless someone comes forward to save his life. Missing all teeth – r/o prior dental disease, extractions. Thin condition – r/o due to missing teeth, renal disease, other metabolic disease. P: FVRCP, Rabies, Pyrantel, Activyl. Monitor appetite while here. Reweigh 2 weeks.

Marcello was brought in without information on his behavioral tendencies in a home environment. His finder reports he was not easy to handle, but he allowed all handling to be conducted during his initial medical exam Reaction to assessor: Marcello comes to the front and meows. Reaction when softly spoken to: Marcello solicits attention and rubs against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Marcello remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Marcello leans in for petting, begins to purr, and head-butts. He is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to pick up: Marcello is a little tense with pick up, but remains calm when held. Placement Determination: Beginner Marcello interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
