***SAFE 09/07/16*** THERE IS SOME CREEPY WOMAN BRINGING CATS TO ACC IN TRAPS WHEN SHE SEES THEM IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD! This little girl is probably one of her ‘victims’ scooped up because she was carted into ACC with another cat and given a ‘NEW HOPE ONLY’ rating which is almost a death sentence and will be unless someone see’s past the fear in this little cat and says ‘yes, sweetie, we’ll work it all out’. Don’t let this little one year old be killed because someone decided they didn’t like cats. SAVE MANNY THE GIRL KITTY by working with a New Hope Rescue partner and agreeing to offer this little one a chance at life by fostering!!!

09/03/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Many was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Manny was curled up in her litter box with eyes focused on the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Manny’s ears slowly bend flat and she hissed with her eyes watching all movements. Reaction to cage door opening: Manny lip licks and remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Manny lowers her head and low growls when you approach her. She hisses then swats when the assessor extended his hand out and doesn’t allow any contact. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Alyssa is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
