Mama 15005 – 17 yr. spayed Tortie, OS:
KNOWN HISTORY:
Mama is a 17 year old altered female, she came to her home as a stray. Mama was surrender due to the owner’s eviction. Mama has previously lived with 1 adult. Around strangers Mama is relaxed but does not like being held. Mama has been around children of ages 2-12 years old. She is relaxed and gentle. Mama has lived with two other cats in the home and was gentle and playful around cats. Mama has never been around dogs. Mama will struggle during a bath and only likes still water. Mama isn’t bothered when being nail trimmed. Mama does not like to be held. She will struggle to go into to the carrier. Mama has no bite history. Mama is described as being friendly and affectionate with a high energy level. She likes looking out of the window and loves to follow her family around the home. Mama loves playing with catnip toys, stuffed toys and sleeps on the owner’s bed. She is feed Wet food Whiskers/gravy only due to her missing some teeth. Mama is Litter-box trained with a hooded box and clumping litter. She has a horizontal scratching post made of cardboard but still scratches on the furniture at times.

Mama nudges and scent marks the side of her litterbox with her cheeks when spoken to softly.

Mama rolls over onto her side as the cage door opens.
Reaction to touch:
Mama allows petting along her head and body while leaning in and raising her tail. After a few moments of petting she stands up and comes forward to head-butt the assessor’s arm.

Mama tolerates being picked up with a tense and wiggly body.
