He has some alopecia which has tested to be ringworm – which is easily treated with anti fungal meds. This head-butting, attention-seeking kitty would just love to be your new best friend. I came into the shelter as a stray on 15-Oct-2017
Magnus Bane 9843 is at risk for a ringworm infection. Behaviorally, Magnus has been social, affectionate, and talkative with his caretakers, allowing all petting and handling, and is suitable for a first-time adopter.

KNOWN HISTORY: Magnus Bane was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Observed Behavior -calm, allows exam ENRICHMENT NOTES: Came to the front on approach, soft eyes and body. Meowed and started rubbing against the bars when spoken to. Leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred, ate offered treats. Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Magnus Bane immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Magnus Bane remains soft in place. Reaction to cage door opening: Magnus Bane remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Magnus Bane head-butts the assessors hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Upon intake, Magnus allowed being collared and having his picture taken. Magnus allowed being picked up.

How is this cat around dogs?: There was a dog in the intake room on the other side and Magnus began growling.
