**SAFE 04/12/16** ETHEREAL BEAUTIES! Meet Lynn and Joss, two young kitties who were found in someone’s yard and brought to the ACC. While some folks may think these two are just run-of-the-mill cats, anyone with an eye for beauty will immediately pause, then look more closely at these cats. Their delicate shading, their muted earth tones, and their luminous eyes combine to make Joss and Lynn positively stunning. Both kittens can be reserved on the ACC website before noon tomorrow, or foster/adopted through a New Hope rescue group. Either way, please find someone who will act on that RIGHT NOW, or these could be the first two cats taken to the euth room, tomorrow.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lynn was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Please note that Lynn is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Lynn was at the back of the kennel with eyes focused on all movements. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lynn keeps her body low and turns facing the wall. Reaction to cage door opening: Lynn is motionless at the back. Reaction to touch: Lynn inches away from contact at first. She sniffs the assessor’s hand then turns to the wall. Lynn allows petting all over and has a tense body. Reaction to being picked up: Lyn is tense when held, gets antsy and leaps back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Experience Lynn tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
