11/16/16 11:00 BASIC INFO Luna A1096973 is an approximately 2 year old dsh cat. She is being surrendered to the shelter because she was fiound in the backyard of finder’s building. Finder placed Luna in a carrier and brought her to ACCNYC. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Luna allowed all handling, collaring and photos.

Reaction to assessor: Luna looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Luna peaks out the den, meow whining, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Luna does not allow the touch then grumbles and attempts to swat the assessor’s hand but doesn’t. Placement determination: NH ONLY Luna is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
