***SAFE 10/15/17*** LOVELY LUNA IS FIV POSITIVE AND IS ON TONIGHT’S LIST WITHOUT HER KITTEN TONIGHT! LUNA tested FIV positive and her kitten MOON (not listed) tested negative! So MOM is the one they are planning to do away with if she is not reserved asap. LUNA is a very friendly girl who is only about 18 months old. She needs a home of her own and can live with other non-FIV cats. PLEASE HELP LUNA TONIGHT AND MAKE HER PART OF YOUR FAMILY – RESERVE BY NOON!!

Sex:Intact F Estimated Age:~18 months Subjective: Stray with 2 month old kitten Eyes: clear Ears: clear Oral Exam:Teeth sharp but mild to moderate gingivitis with some tarter at molars. Heart: no auscultation Lungs: Abdomen: Musculoskeletal: Mentation: appropriate Preliminary Assessment:FIV POSITIVE with mild dental disease Plan: Needs DVM intake
DVM: 1431 DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 1 year Microchip noted on Intake? no History : stray Subjective:BAR, hydrated Observed Behavior – Very friendly, easily examined and treated with minimal restraint. Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen -no Objective P = 120 R = 20 BCS: 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: negative oral otherwise. PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: female intact, mammary glands enlarged/lactating slightly MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: FIV + POS lactating Prognosis: good Plan: continue to monitor at ACC SURGERY:Okay for surgery
