*** SAFE 04/3/17 *** A volunteer writes: Quiet as a mouse is how I would describe our lovely lady Lulu, who was hanging back shyly when I met her the other day in the cat adoption room. As I whispered her name, she looked up at me with alert warm eyes, communicating her gentle nature and softness without making a peep. She’s a cuddly beauty with an endearing white tuft of hair on her chest and a wet gum drop nose. Besides her good looks, Lulu is also very well behaved, and our behavior team deemed her to be a great fit in just about any kind of household. Silent, solid, calm, neat, confident, and with off the charts BFF potential, Lulu is every cat adopter’s dream come true.

Hello, humans! My name is Lulu, and I’m tiny girl with beautiful black fur and emerald green eyes. Good looks aside, I’ll be honest, I was a little out of sorts when I first got here. My past is quite mysterious, since I was found as a stray (I would tell you the full details, but I don’t believe you’re fluent in “feline”), and being in a new place with new people and smells and noises–well, it made me feel a little scared and a little sad, and I didn’t feel like getting to know people too much. But I knew I had to put my best paw forward, and with the help of my human friends, I’ve been feeling much better and showing off my (pretty great, in my opinion,) personality. I like getting petted, and I enjoy eating treats from my human’s hand, and when I’m really happy, I will purr up a storm! I really am thankful to be safe indoors, and I would love the chance to blossom as a furry companion in a real home. Please consider checking me out!
