Safe - 4-9-2016 Manhattan
***SAFE 04/09/16 *** LUCY is another victim of being DUMPED for a family members’ allergies! Her and her chi buddy, COCOA (not listed) were the best of friends. Now, LUCY is scared in the shelter, alone, without her buddy and the 2 year old now needs an EXPERIENCED hand and NO children in the home! It would be great if the two could be adopted together. Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT one or both, and keep this tiny family together!

She has lived with a Chihuahua and they are affectionate with each other. They will play and sleep alongside each other. Reaction to assessor: Lucy looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lucy remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open.
