SAFE 3/24/18 LUCIA is a 2 yr old spayed girl whose owner adopted from another shelter. She has had some litterbox problems so rather than taking Lucia to a vet, he dumped her at the ACC. Lucia needs some medical tests to determine if she has a UTI or another issue. She is friendly and needs a home where she can get lots of TLC.

Oral Exam: mild tartar
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Splintng on abdomimal palpation, firm stool palpated in colon
U/G: more urine than expected in cage prior to exam
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Hx increased urination r/o uit, calculi other
Firm stool in colon r/o primary, secondary contsipation
Prognosis: fair to good
Plan: Abd rads, chem, cbc
