03/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lu was brought in without any information on her behavior in her previous home. The finder reports she was easy to handle and was easily placed into the carrier. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. The enrichment facilitator reports she was very sweet and friendly during their interaction, and would come to the front, meow, and lean into petting. Reaction to assessor: Lu was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lu sniffs the assessor and rubs her cheeks against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Lu remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lu head-butts lighty, begins to purr, and leans into petting. She was very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Lu remains calm and purrs when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Lu interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
