07/07/17 14:07 Basic Information: Lovey is a 1 and a half year old male cat that the previous owner has had since birth. Due to personal problems she cannot keep the cat in her home anymore. He has not been to the vet before and has no known medical issues. Socialization: Around strangers Lovey gets shy for a few minutes. He has been around children ages 13 and up and is relaxed and affectionate, which is the same way he is with adults. He lives with two other cats, one male and his mother. He was very playful and exuberant with cats he lived with as well. He has never been around dogs before. This cat has also never bit another human or animal. Behavior: The behavior issue this cat has includes scratching on the rugs in the home and hides in fear when people stomp in the house too loud. He has never been in a car so the behavior is unknown. He has never had any litter box problems. Lovey also isn’t bothered with baths or nails getting trimmed. He enjoys being brushed and isn’t bothered being held or put in a carrier. He also doesn’t mind someone waking him up while napping. For A New Family: Lovey is described as friendly and affectionate which is the previous owner’s favorite thing about him. He has a high, playful energy to him and enjoys his string toys. He was kept mostly indoors and sleeps on the owner’s bed when it’s time for bed. This cat uses a hooded litter box with Fresh Scoop clumping litter. This cat never had a scratching post before. Behavior During Intake: Lovey had a very soft body coming out of the carrier. He let me pet him, scan him for a microchip and take a photo of him.
