Louis was found with a few other kitties and was described as friendly by the person who brought him to the shelter because she couldn’t keep him. He’s neutered and a good boy. Hello, my name is Louis. My animal id is #11631. I am a desexed male black cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years 1 weeks old. – P
I came into the shelter as a stray on 03-Nov-2017.
Louis is at risk for medical and behavior conditions. Louis has an Upper Respiratory Infection which is contagious to other cats. Louis also is tense and stressed in the care center and would do best in a quiet home.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Louis was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Louis allowed counselor to pick her up and collar her. Louis allowed petting and would lean into hand for head pets.

Reaction when softly spoken to:: Louis becomes alert with eyes wide open.

Reaction to touch:: Louis looks away from the assessors’s hand, but began to lip lick while accepting the touch. He seems very uncomfortable and cautious with his surroundings looking around in place.
