KNOWN HISTORY: Loretta was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: BARH. Attention seeking, allowed all handling. ENRICHMENT NOTES: 08/16/17 At front of kennel vocalizing and leaning against door. Allows petting along head and body with tail raised. Vocal and friendly. Doing well! EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage recently cleaned Reaction to assessor: Loretta was resting in the back of her kennel and remained calm. Reaction when softly spoken to: Loretta makes eye contact, looks around and remains motionless. Loretta is relaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Loretta remained in a neutral body position. Reaction to touch: Loretta lip licks, hops down from bed and head butts assessor. She enjoys chin rubs and has an erect tail. Allows petting all over. Reaction to being picked up: Loretta purrs and is calm in the assessors arms. She leaps back into cage shortly after and goes back to soliciting attention. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow, Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Sweet, Affectionate, Easy going BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Loretta interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
