Perched on top the kuranda bed. Meows softly and starts lip licking when I approach. Hesitant and leans away, but accepts gentle pets. Slow blinks and seems to appreciate attention. Not interested in treats.
04/01/18
Lying on top of kuranda bed, body neutral and ears forward. Eyes are closed. Does not respond when spoken to. She opens her eyes and watches as the kennel door opens, then tolerates petting along her head and body with the bear-claw while lowering herself to the ground and flattening her ears. Tries to shift away in an attempt to avoid touch. Not too interested in treats at the moment. Needs more time to adjust.

Lola is lying in back of her kennel, ears forward and head resting against kennel floor as the assessor approaches.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Lola’s ears tilt towards the assessor and her head remains lowered onto the ground when spoken to softly.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Lola lifts her head and looks ahead as the kennel door opens.
Reaction to touch:
Lola accepts petting along her head and body, body slightly tense. She begins to warm up with continued petting and leans in with her head. Lola is focused on her environment, she pauses and looks around the room each time she hears a loud noise, body becoming tense.
