11/20/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/20/16 16:32 Loki’s previous owner best describes him as a shy cat that will warm up to just about anyone in a few minutes. He’s spent time with kids (ages 12 and 15) and is relaxed and affectionate around them. He plays gently with both adults and kids and has never bitten or scratched another human. Loki has never been around other dogs or cats since he stays indoors and lives with no other animals. His previous owner never tried bathing him, trimming his nails, or brushing his coat since he gets nervous and hides when finding out what’s about to happen. Loki’s afraid of most people picking him up but does not struggle. His previous owner said that he is also afraid of carriers and will run away when it gets brought out. Loki is described as friendly, affectionate, mellow, quiet, and above all else, independent. He has a low activity level and his favorite things to do are sleep and relax. His previous owner says her favorite thing about Loki is how he’s a great listener. Loki sleeps on his favorite blanket, wherever it is placed. He enjoys 9 Lives salmon dry food and ate a handful of it about three times a day. Loki is litter box trained and used an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. His favorite thing to scratch was his previous owner’s walker and the bathroom wall but never had a scratch post. On intake Loki hissed while in the carrier but once her owner’s son left allowed me to put a collar on him. He was nervous to come out of her carrier and I had to tilt it slightly for him to come out. However, after he was out he allowed me to handle him. I was able to pick him up to position him for photographs and he allowed me to pick him back up to put him back in the carrier.
