**SAFE 03/02/16** FALL DIZZY IN LOVE WITH BEGINNER LIZZIE!!! A volunteer writes, “Lovely little Lizzie…this sweet girl is still only 8 months old…too young to be living on her own in a cat condo! She is super snuggly and loves cuddles…you could probably snuggle and pet her all day, and she wouldn’t mind at all. Immediately friendly and prefers to head butt and cuddle with you than to eat her dinner. This black and gold Cuddlemuffin is ready for her forever home.” This precious pet is still a kitten and an absolute darling one at that. She was surrendered due to “pet health” but is purrfectly fine except for a couple of curable kitty sniffles. Can you open up your heart and home to this darling girl? Please reserve Lizzy online or let a rescue know if you can help. Transportation is available. Email our help desk for assistance–[email protected] Don’t forget that fostering saves lives so let us know if you can offer temporary (or purrmanent) safe haven to Lizzy. Make the call for this darling girl and fall dizzy in love with Lizzy NOW!!!

02/28/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lizzie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in the previous home. She allowed all handling upon intake and during her initial medical exam. The enrichment facilitator has reported she is super sweet and friendly during an interaction. She came to the front and rubbed against bars. She also head-butted, ate treats from hand, and leaned into pets. Reaction to assessor: Lizzie immediately comes to the front and meows for attention. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lizzie head-butts the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Lizzie remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lizzie head-butts, begins to purr, and leans into petting. She was very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Lizzie remains calm and purrs when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Lizzie interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
