Crouched in back of kennel, face tense. Stays very still as his eyes follow my
movements. Looks away when spoken to. He retreats through his portal as I open the
kennel door, body and tail low, and then rolls over onto his side. Conflicted
behavior. He tilts his head gently as I reach towards him from the other-side of the
kennel and leans in gently for petting. Rolls over onto side with continued petting,
tail wrapped around body. Sweet boy, warms up once approached. Needs some time
to continue to adjust. Sprayed feliway. Ate all treats given.
10/12/17
Lying on his back in front of kennel, body soft and feet in the air. He remains in the
front of the kennel and becomes slightly more tense as I open the kennel door.
Allows petting along his head and body while leaning in and rolling over onto his
side. He scoots to the back of the kennel and allows further petting while wrapping
his tail around his body and pulling his feet towards him. Sweet, shy boy. Beginning
to warm up. Did well today! Sprayed feliway.
10/13/17
Low body posture, near the front of the kennel. Sniffs hand and accepts petting/
attention. Enjoys rubs on his cheeks, rolls over and gives head butts. Starts to warm
up and gain confidence. Very food motivated, loves tuna paste. I clicker trained her
and rewarded her when she solicited attention. Did very well. Sprayed feliway.
