07/09/16 10:59 Basic Info: Linda A1080554 is a 3year old female Siamese DSH feline who was bred at home & is being surrendered because her owner does not want her. She hasn’t been seen by a veterinarian and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Linda is friendly/outgoing. She is very friendly with children of all ages and plays exuberantly with them. She has not been around other cats or dogs. She hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Linda hasn’t been on a car ride. She isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held or with being placed into a carrier. She hasn’t been given a bath nor had her nails trimmed. She loves being brushed and is not bothered when disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Linda is described as friendly, affectionate, very playful, confident, assertive & talkative (at times) with a medium-very high activity level. When the owner is home she follows the owner around. She enjoys mouse & ball toys and is an indoor only cat that sleeps where ever. She was fed dry & wet Meow Mix 1-2x a day. She is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within. She doesn’t have a scratching post in the home. Intake Behavior: Linda had a soft body & soft eyes. She allowed all handling. She is very affectionate, purrs and head butts hard for attention. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including positioning her during his photo session. She didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held & was placed into a kennel with ease.

Former owner stated around strangers Linda is friendly/outgoing. She is very friendly with children of all ages and plays exuberantly with them. She has not been around other cats or dogs. Also, described as friendly, affectionate, very playful, confident, assertive & talkative (at times) with a medium-very high activity level. Reaction to assessor: Linda looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Linda walks towards the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Linda head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: During the pickup, she becomes agitated then began to swat and low growl, to stop the interaction. Placement determination: Experience / no child Linda tolerates attention and petting, but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
