06/02/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Lincoln is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Lincoln attempts to hide upon my approach When spoken quietly: Lincoln continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Lincoln retreats Reaction to touch: Lincoln moves away from me and tries to flee cage Try picking cat up: Lincoln is tolerant of this type of handling but tense Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Lincoln was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Lincoln tries to hide as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
