KNOWN HISTORY: Lil Winona came in as a stray so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. During intake, she appeared timid but allowed handling. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Allowed handling, sweet and attention seeking EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is slightly re-arranged Reaction to assessor: Lil Winona meows and comes to the front, begins rubbing against and reaching through the bars. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lil Winona stays at the front and continues to rub against the bars. Reaction to cage door opening: Lil Winona remains calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lil Winona leans and arches into the stroke and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Lil Winona sits calmly and nuzzles the assessor’s neck. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Lively VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Affectionate, People Oriented BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Please note that Lil Winona is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Lil Winona interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
