LIGHTRAY has a small mass on his upper lip towards right side, hard, pea sized. LIGHTRAY is easy to handle and would love to find a home that he can call his own. 07/05/17 19:25 Lightray is a brown tabby DSh who was found alone on a fire escape. LightRay does not like dogs and hissed and swatted at the finder’s dog when she brought him home. Lightray uses the litter box and is calm around strangers. Lightray was calm but kept his head hidden from counselor during intake. Lightray allowed all handling for collaring, scanning and photograph.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 7/6/17- Observed Behavior: shy/nervous but allows handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/6/17- Laying at back, head resting in portal, eyes a little dilated. Leaned and arched into pets, then stood and walked into other kennel, lay down under kuranda bed. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Lightray remains soft and relaxed, lying down on his cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Lightray remains in place. Reaction to touch: Lightray stands with tail up and engages while he head bunts the assessor’s hand and purrs. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Lightray interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
