M, approx. 1 yr
O: BARH. Difficult to handle – striking, fearful. Limited exam.
ORAL: Unable to fully assess – no obvious abnormalities.
EENT: No oculonasal discharge, no sneezing.
H/L: Lungs clear, no murmurs/arrhythmias.
ABD/UG: Male, intact. Palpation WNL.
INTEG: Full, clean haircoat.
A: Age est 1 yr. Apparently healthy.
P: OK for neuter surgery.
No admissions notes or memos, but was brought in by NPS from Floyd Bennett Field w/ one other cat, Thunder, -73. Not eartipped. Crouching low in box at rear of cage, no eye contact, unmoving. Poises to flee when I open cage door, wasn’t receptive to interaction at this time. Gave some chicken, sprayed Feliway and offered a bowl of fresh wet food.
