Lewiston was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was calm and relaxed upon intake and allowed all handling throughout the intake process. He was also very easy to handle during his initial medical exam.
Reaction to Assessor: Lewiston was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Lewiston meows and reaches out with his paw.
Reaction to cage door opening: Lewiston remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Lewiston leans into petting, begins to purr, rolls over, and gives kisses. He is very affectionate throughout the interaction and starts to knead.
Reaction to being picked up: Lewiston remains soft and purrs when held.
Placement Determination: Beginner
Lewiston interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
