*SAFE 1/22/16 *5-Month Old Kitten – LETA – Hit By Car, Possible Nerve Damage NEEDS FOLLOW UP VET CARE!**
Leta A1063268 – 5 month female brown tabby/white
Scan : negative
Approx 5 months
S/O: QAR, no ocular or nasal discharge. Ear WNL. Non-weightbearing lame on Right front leg. No palpable fracture, suspect nerve damage/radial nerve damage. BCS 3/9. Appetite ++. Superficial abrasions on nose, small amount of dried blood on side of mouth and on right front left. No open wounds.
Cardiothoracic auscultation WNL.
Withdrawl reflex intact on right front, no pain response elicited
A: Suspect nerve damage
P: Administered 0.12 buprenorphine SQ. Will re-examine tomorrow, and sedate for radigraphs to r/o fractures.
