Relative stated that Leo would keep to himself when he came over. He sometimes allowed to be picked up and sometimes pet. However the Relative did not interacted much with the cat.

Behavior Notes:
During intake Leo was a bit nervous and growled when opening the carrier. He backed away when attempting to pet and handle. He become tense and growled. He allowed no handling and unable to scan.

Very timid, occasionally growls, but able to do exam without much issue

Reaction to assessor:
Leo was lying down near the back of the kennel on his kuranda bed.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Leo’s ears tilt forward, hisses, then turns his head away.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Leo tenses up and remains motionless.
Reaction to touch:
Leo tenses up and low growls when the assessor extends his hand out. He keeps his body lowered and tolerates petting, but slowly warms up over time. He rises up, leans in when rubbed on his cheeks and scent marks the kennel furnishings.
