Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Leah looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Leah remains stiff in place, alert with eye wandering. Reaction to touch: Leah slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand then retreats, but when touched with a slow approach ears go down to the side and she shows no interest to the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Leah tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
