Leafy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Leafy was curled up in the back of the kennel with her tail at her side. Reaction when softly spoken to: Leafy makes eye contact and rolls over on her side. Reaction to cage door opening: Leafy is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Leafy leans forward for rubs and appreciates attention. She allows petting all over, lightly head butts and brushes up against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Charlie is tense when held and struggled to be put down. Behavior Determination: Average Leafy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
