Layla has a superficial wound on her back. She was initially shy, but after several minutes and some gentle coaxing she warmed up and began appreciating attention.

EENT: Teeth clean, eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl
HL: Normal thoracic auscultation
ABD: Normal abdominal palpation
INTEG: ~3x5cm superficial wound at left caudal dorsum with areas of granulation tissue laterally and small amount of purulent discharge; no other wounds or injuries noted
MS: Ambulatory x 4, no apparent lameness
UG: Female
A: Wound
P: Rec cleaning with nolvasan q12 x 3 days and convenia 0.23ml SQ and buprenex SR 0.11ml SQ. Excellent prognosis with appropriate treatment.
