**SAFE 07/05/16** BEGINNER, SENIOR GENT IS ALREADY NEUTERED AND READY TO MEET HIS HERO! Who can look at that face and not have to keep clicking back to look at it again and again? Those honest eyes, the distinguished whiskers, the air of jaunty huggability—-lovable LAVA has it all! Some lady was supposedly feeding him outside along with 10 other cats, and because he was SO mellow and SO squishy, she picked him up and took him into her home. Where she kept him for a MONTH, a full 30 days, before waking up on June 21st and thinking, “You know what? I think the best use of my time, would be if I took this super-friendly tabby cat to a kill shelter, where his life could be grievously endangered and probably, ultimately, LOST.” Who does this kind of thing?! Everything stinks about how LAVA came to be within the ACC’s walls, and everything stinks about the ACC’s results in finding him a safe place to go. They brag about having had a 93% live release rate during one of the recent months, but that statistic is NOT going to make LAVA feel any better when they pin him down on that table tomorrow, and inject him with poison without having sedated him first. LAVA needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to be his friend tonight, because the ACC and tomorrow are NO friends at all. Please save him.
