ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Timid MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 7/6/17- Observed Behavior – quiet, calm, allowed all handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/6/17- Resting under kuranda bed, behind bedding. Leaned into pets, but remained low, watchful. Only ate treats within reach, wouldn’t come forward. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Larry remains neutral, lying down at the back of the cage during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Larry remains cautious with her surroundings, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Larry allows the petting, but stiffens up with tail curled close to the body and slowly distance increase. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Larry may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
