I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 03/14/2017 from NY 11434, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

KNOWN HISTORY: Lacrissa was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Lacrissa was lying down on her blanket at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lacrissa slowly turns around and makes eye contact when spoken to softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Lacrissa remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Lacrissa sniffs the assessor and accepts touch but doesn’t get up or seek out attention. She lies down on her blanket allowing rubbing and petting all over but seems a little uncomfortable and stays at the back of the kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Lacrissa remains calm and allows all handling. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Independent, BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Please note that this cat has a severe medical condition so we may not be seeing any true behavior and behavior may change when the cat’s medical condition improves.
