06/27/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/27/17 20:14 Basic Info: Kitty Purry A1116739 is a female white & black DSH who was given to the owner as a gift 3yrs ago and is being surrendered along with her kittens: Keanu A1116741 & Kimmie A1116740 due to their owner being evicted. They’ve never been to a veterinarian & currently have no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Kitty Purry is shy for a several minutes with strangers but usually stays away from them. She hasn’t been around dogs but was fearful or aggressive (hissing, growling and sometimes swatting- not making contact) with the adults, her children & a 6yr old in the home. Loki hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides Kitty Purry will meow. She isn’t bothered by being put into a carrier. Kitty Purry hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting, had her nails trimmed, been bathed, brushed or picked up/held much since she was a kitten. For a New Family to Know: Kitty Purry is described as mellow, independent, aloot, playful (alone) & quiet with low-medium activity level. When the owner is home Kitty Purry follows them around sometimes. She’s an indoor cat that sleeps around the home, eats dry & canned Friskies cat food 1x a day, uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within and scratches on the couch; she doesn’t have a scratching post. Intake Behavior: Kitty Purry allowed a couple of quick pets on the nose/head but after that she began hissing, growling and swatting. Due to these behaviors I was unable to scan, collar or take her pictures on the backdrop. Kitty Purry’s carrier was placed into a kennel where she walked out of it on her own and retreated to the back of the kennel.
