**SAFE 06/10/16** And who could she be, this elegant girl kitty with the huge green eyes and clearly Russian Blue coat (you can see her steel gray overcoat with the soft undercoat) and pointed ears. Could this be a Russian Princess cat in disguise? Given up because of ‘allergies’ this royal girl lived with 2 small shithzus and an 11 year old child. Shes only about 8 years old and is loving and independent, the former owner stated she spent a lot of her time with her. Russian Blues (and she sure looks like one) are loyal and loving. Kitty Gata meets the challenge-independent, but she allowed all handling even if she was shy- and in a home, she would know that you saved her life. Why save this precious girl? Because she commands you with her deep green eyes to recognize her as the wonderful royalty she is, loving, with a sense of humor and just needing to be loved-and saved. Save KITTY GATA tonight, because without you she faces being assassinated.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Kitty’s former owner described her as independent and aloof. She spent most of her time with her owner. She likes petting but only on her terms and when she wants it. She shared the home with two shih tzus and an 11 year old child. She will run off when she notices the child nearby. She will also sometimes chase the dogs around. Reaction to assessor: Kitty Looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kitty remains crouched position on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Kitty slowly retreats with ears flat down, but once touched she flinches in place and remains wary with her surroundings. Placement determination: Experience / no child Kitty Gata tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
