04/09/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/09/17 16:06 Kitty is friendly and outgoing towards strangers and usually likes to be approached. She lives with three children, ages 10, 12, and 13, and is relaxed and affectionate with them. She plays gently with both adults and children and has lived with her sister-cat, Storm. They are relaxed and affectionate with each other and usually play both exuberantly and gently. She has never been around dogs so it’s unknown how she would react. Kitty has never bitten another animal or human. During car rides, Kitty breathes heavily with her mouth open. She is relaxed when given a bath and loves being brushed. She’s never had her nails trimmed so it’s unknown how she would react to it. She isn’t bothered when picked up or placed inside the carrier. When awoken from her slumber, Kitty gets up and starts playing around. Kitty is friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, and shy. She has a low activity level and usually has a small burst of energy in the middle of the night. When her owner is home, she usually hangs out in her favorite spot under the couch in the living room. She doesn’t really play with toys and has been kept indoors only. She sleeps in a box in the living room or her chair in the kitchen and is litterbox trained. She will only go potty in her hooded litterbox full of clumping litter. Kitty scratches on her litterbox or boxes around the house and has never had a scratching post. She eats 9 Lives dry cat food, a bowlful, twice a day. She loves pork chops. On intake, counselor opened the box that Kitty was in and she hissed and swatted at counselor. Counselor did not collar or take picture to make sure she didn’t get more nervous.
